September Edition of the Flare-out is now Online
The September edition of the Flare-out newsletter is now on line for
viewing. Click on the Newsletter
link to the left. Note that it is 2.4 MB in size so dialup users

Fall Float Fly - Saturday September 18th
TCRC’s annual Fall Float Fly will again be held at Bush Lake Park in
Bloomington on Saturday, September 18th. Start time is 10:00 AM.
Chair for the event is Steve Meyer, and he said the event is open to any
pilot with a valid 2010 AMA membership card. Get the floats onto a
plane and be at Bush Lake on September 18th.
Glow to Electric Conversion Presentation
Curtis Beaumont created and showed a PowerPoint presentation on
conversion of Glow to Electric at the March membership meeting.

Lithophane Offer To Club Members
If you were at the
TCRC banquet you were able to see the Lithophanes that Wayne
Rademacher created with his CNC machine. They have generated a
lot of interest by club members. A number of folks were interested
in having Wayne make custom or personalized lights for them. This
offer is for TCRC Club members -

Reminder to all People Flying at the Jordan Field
or Fairgrounds
Anybody who fly's at the Jordan field or Fairgrounds must display a
2010 AMA membership card or 2010 TCRC membership card in order to fly.
A no exceptions policy will be enforced. This is a requirement of
our AMA Club Charter and insurance policy.
We ask that current members help enforce this rule as we are all
responsible to protect our flying sites. If you witness somebody
flying without a current card please politely inform them of our policy
and ask them to stop flying until they can show proof of membership.
