My cousin, Caro Bayley Bosca, owned the 3rd Pitts Special, which was custom-built for her by Curtiss Pitts. She flew it in airshows from 1946 to 1951 as a member of an all-women aerobatic team. It was black with white striping, so she named it "Black Magic". In 1951, the FAI named her International Women's Aerobatic Champion!
